Welcome to the Cass County Humane Society. We are a shelter dedicated to serving the abandoned, homeless, and lost dogs and cats of our community, since 1948. We believe in the humane care of each and every animal that comes through our door. We believe every animal deserves a chance to thrive and live a happy, healthy life.
CCHS provides the city of Logansport and Cass County with animal services and pet programs, including adoptions, education, and volunteer opportunities. Animals in our care receive necessary medical treatment from our valued veterinary partners, which allows us to save lives and improve the quality of health for our animals in need.
Otis is a 6 year old, 50 pound, pittie mix that came to the shelter when his owner passed away. Otis is potty trained and is one of the cleanest dogs in the shelter. He is unbothered by other dogs and appears to be cat friendly as well. Otis would love to find a home soon as he is our longest resident at the shelter and has been waiting 600+ days. Losing a pet can be a stressful and emotional time for a pet owner. Cass County Humane Society can help ease some of the burden, offering our Lost & Found Pets Service. Our dedicated staff is here to provide timely support and assistance to help find your missing companion and bring them back home.
